In addition, same authors isolated three new saponins from BM, designated as bacopasides III, IV and V . Moreover, three new phenylethnoid glycosides, viz. monnerisides I-III along with the known analogue plantainoside B. also bacopa contains protein, fats, carbohydrates, crude fiber & minerals.
