In general, it is reported to contain coumarins, xanthones, terpenoids and sterol type of phytochemicals.The bark oil was found to be mainly composed of (E)-α-bisabolene and α-selinene, while the major oils contents of tender and mature leaves were found to be α-copaene and β-caryophyllene respectively. α-copaene and germacrene D were found to be themajor oil components of the bud and flowers.
